About me

Greetings Sorors,

I’m Anastasia Walker and I’m honored to be considered for board service with the Ivy Community Service Foundation of Cary, Inc. As a licensed therapist, Clinical Director, and educator, my heart is in building healthier, more connected communities—and I’m committed to service that is both compassionate and sustainable.

Why I’m Seeking to Serve

ICSFC’s mission is to enhance quality of life through program development and financial support in the areas of arts, economics, education, family, and health.

That mission mirrors how I already show up: supporting wellness, strengthening families, educating future professionals, and helping communities access real resources—not just information.

Leadership + Service Highlights

  • STO Trailblazer Award (2024)

  • Mental Health Committee Chair: Developed a Chapter Mental Health Resource Guide to support resource access and continuity

  • Community Resource Fair Organizer: Coordinated a resource fair connecting attendees with local supports and services

  • Adjunct Faculty: Fayetteville State University +  UNC Central (educator focused on student development and real-world impact)

How I’ll Support the Work

ICSFC has a strong legacy of community impact—through scholarships, grants, and signature programs that support youth, families, economic empowerment, and wellness.

If elected, I will bring:

  • A wellness + prevention lens that supports whole-community wellbeing

  • Strong communication and follow-through to help move initiatives from ideas to impact

  • Partnership energy—I enjoy collaborating with aligned organizations and strengthening community connections

  • Stewardship-minded leadership that honors the responsibility of a 501(c)(3) and the trust of our donors and community

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I would be truly honored to earn your support and help continue the legacy of service, excellence, and sisterhood through ICSFC.

Sisterly yours,
Anastasia Walker
