You don’t have to keep performing. You don’t have to keep pushing through. There is another way — and it starts with one honest conversation.
Who this is for
On the outside everything looks fine — accomplished, capable, put together. But privately you feel exhausted, emotionally overextended, and disconnected from yourself. You’ve spent so long taking care of everything and everyone else that you’re not sure what it would feel like to just be. You’re ready to stop surviving and start living in a way that actually feels like yours.
But something has shifted. The distance has grown quiet and familiar. You argue about the same things — or you’ve stopped arguing at all. You want more than conflict resolution. You want to actually feel close again, rebuild something that was lost, or figure out with honesty and care what comes next.
My approach
My approach is relational, evidence-informed, and direct. I draw from research and a liberatory framework that centers your cultural context, your identity, and your full humanity — not just your symptoms.
I’m not going to tell you what you want to hear. I’m going to help you get honest about what’s true for you — and then help you do something with that.
“Real work —
relational, embodied,
and grounded in
who you actually are.”
Offerings
01 / Individual Therapy
For women navigating anxiety, burnout, identity, emotional overfunctioning, trauma, and the quiet exhaustion of always being the strong one. Regardless of your background, if you recognize yourself here — this is a space for you. We go at the pace your nervous system can hold — and we go somewhere real.
02 / Couples Therapy
For couples who want to repair emotional disconnection, rebuild intimacy, or navigate a major transition together. We look at what’s underneath the conflict — not just the conflict itself. I work with couples at all stages, including those discerning whether to stay.
03 / Clinical Supervision
Individual supervision toward full licensure. My supervision style is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in real clinical complexity — not just paperwork compliance.

Work with Dr. WalkerBeyond the therapy room
Healing doesn’t only happen in a therapy office. Dr. Walker brings her clinical expertise and cultural perspective to churches, universities, corporations, and community organizations — meeting people where they are, before they’re ready for therapy or alongside it.
Topics center on relational healing, identity and worth, emotional health for women, and culturally grounded approaches to mental wellness. Workshops are developed in collaboration with the hosting organization to fit the specific community and need.

Getting started
A short form — about five minutes — that helps me understand what you’re looking for before we ever connect. No commitment required.
If it seems like we’d be a good fit, I’ll send you a link to schedule a free 15-minute conversation. You ask your questions. I ask mine.
If we both feel good about moving forward, we schedule your first session. All sessions are held virtually for clients in North Carolina.
All inquiries are reviewed personally by Dr. Walker.

recognizing that something needs to change.
The rest, we do together.”
